Care Instructions

A little care goes a long way. Follow these simple steps to keep your Everline mat looking and feeling like new.

Everyday Cleaning

  1. Wipe down the surface with a damp, soft cloth after each play session to remove crumbs, drool, and dust.
  2. Use a mild soap (dish soap or baby-safe cleanser) for any visible smudges. A small drop on a damp cloth is all you need.
  3. Dry with a clean towel or let the mat air-dry before rolling or folding it back up.

Deep Cleaning

We recommend a deeper clean every one to two weeks, or any time the mat sees heavy use.

  1. Mix a small amount of gentle all-purpose cleaner (or equal parts water and white vinegar) in a spray bottle.
  2. Lightly mist the entire surface and let it sit for 1 – 2 minutes.
  3. Wipe with a soft sponge or microfiber cloth, working in one direction.
  4. Rinse the cloth, wring it out, and do a final wipe to remove any residue.
  5. Air-dry completely before placing the mat back on the floor.

Stain Removal

Stain TypeWhat to Do
Food & juiceBlot immediately with a damp cloth. Follow with mild soap if needed.
Marker or crayonApply a small amount of rubbing alcohol to a cloth and gently rub the mark. Wipe clean with water afterward.
Diaper mishapsClean with warm water and mild soap right away. Follow with a vinegar-water spray to neutralize odor.
Sunscreen or lotionWipe with a soapy cloth, then rinse. These can leave a residue if left to sit.

Storage Tips

  • Roll, don't fold. Rolling prevents permanent creases. Use the original strap or a velcro band to keep it secure.
  • Store in a cool, dry place. Avoid direct sunlight, garages, or damp basements — prolonged heat and moisture can affect the foam over time.
  • Keep it in the bag. The original storage bag protects the surface from dust and scratches when the mat is not in use.

What to Avoid

  • Bleach and harsh chemicals. These can break down the TPU surface and cause discoloration.
  • Abrasive scrubbers or steel wool. Stick to soft cloths and sponges to protect the printed design.
  • Machine washing or submerging. The mat is waterproof on the surface, but soaking can allow water into the foam core.
  • Placing near heat sources. Keep the mat away from radiators, fireplaces, and heated floors above 90 degrees F (32 degrees C).
  • Sharp objects. Furniture legs with metal tips or sharp toys can puncture the surface. Use felt pads under furniture that sits on the mat.
